How We Capture Art
Every artwork deserves to be seen in its truest form. At Repro-Art Room, we follow a meticulous process designed to preserve the full depth, color, and texture of every piece — from the initial capture to the final fine art print.
We illuminate each artwork using professional strobe lights, chosen for their broad color spectrum and consistent output. This allows us to capture every tone and subtle shade with exceptional accuracy — something LED lighting simply can’t match.
Before each session, we use a color checker and calibrated camera profiles to ensure faithful color reproduction. Every hue is measured and balanced so that the digital capture mirrors the original artwork under natural viewing conditions.
During the editing phase, we fine-tune colors using data captured from the artwork itself. By referencing measured pigment values, we ensure even the most challenging tones — those that cameras often struggle with — are rendered exactly as intended.
Our signature post-processing technique recreates the physical depth of brushstrokes and canvas texture. The result is an image that feels tangible — a reproduction that doesn’t just look like the original, but carries its presence and surface energy.

Fine Art Printing with Care
Our printing service is dedicated to artists, galleries, and collectors who value quality over quantity. We don’t produce in bulk or for commercial clients — we create fine art prints with care and precision. Every print is crafted using custom printer and paper profiles, ensuring colors that are true, balanced, and consistent. Each piece we produce is treated as an artwork in its own right.
our workflow:
We begin with a conversation about the artwork. Its mood and texture advising the best choice of paper and scale. We work only with papers we understand closely, so each print reflects the work accurately.
Once the paper is chosen, we create a custom profile specifically for that medium. This fine-tuning ensures that the printer, ink, and paper work in perfect harmony, achieving accurate color and tonal depth that generic profiles simply can’t reproduce.
Before producing the final edition, we print and review test proofs. These allow us to check color balance and density in real-world light. Artists can request to receive these tests for approval or feedback before final printing begins.
Once approved, we print the edition with full attention to consistency and detail. Each print is carefully inspected to ensure flawless color, contrast, and surface quality — any deviation means a reprint, no exceptions.
For limited editions, we can manage logistics such as packaging, storage, and delivery directly to galleries or collectors. This ensures every print arrives safely and professionally, ready for exhibition or sale.

We offer a free A4 test print for artists interested in developing a limited edition collaboration with our studio.
The test print is available on one of our fine art papers to demonstrate color accuracy, texture reproduction, and print quality.
If you would like to compare additional papers, we can provide extra test prints for a small materials fee.This process is not automated. We review each request so that we can understand your work and recommend the paper that suits it best.
